Consultant in Psychiatry of Learning Disability Specialist

This exciting opportunity is part of our commitment to delivering high-quality mental health services to the community. As a Consultant Psychiatrist in Psychiatry of Learning Disability, you will play a key role in providing intensive and responsive crisis resolution and home treatment to adults aged 18 and over with a functional mental health problem.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, working closely with colleagues to provide clinical leadership and management of complex cases. Your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring individuals are treated in the least restrictive way, consistent with their clinical and safety needs.
Key Responsibilities- Manage CRHT referrals, team meetings, and supervision of non-consultant medical staff
- Provide clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary team
- Role in assessment of referrals/admissions
- Care plan and treatment formulation, guidance on evidence-based treatment and effectiveness
- Liaison and collaborative working with other services/agencies
