Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Sports Manager to join our team at Leisure People Recruitment. As a Community Sports Manager, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a diverse range of sports and physical activity programmes in community settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver sports and physical activity programmes in community settings.
  • Develop strategic business plans with KPI measures of success.
  • Build strategic partnerships with public health, governing bodies, and community groups.
  • Source and secure external funding opportunities.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including community groups, public health officials, and governing bodies.

Requirements:

  • Experience in developing and delivering sports and physical activity programmes in community settings.
  • Proven track record of developing strategic business plans with KPI measures of success.
  • Ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships with public health, governing bodies, and community groups.
  • Knowledge of external funding opportunities.
  • Full clean driving licence and flexibility to travel for meetings, conferences, and other venues.
