Account Payable Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our team at Clarion Events. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for supporting the Accounts Payable Manager in leading the team in processing payments, expenses, invoicing, and setting up new suppliers.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and lead the Accounts Payable team during the manager's absence, ensuring performance standards and deadlines are met.
- Manage accounts payable to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, expense reports, and payment requests.
- Monitor the accounts payable aging report to ensure timely payments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and update accounts payable procedures and policies.
- Review and implement new software and systems as required.
- Ensure VAT is claimed back where applicable.
- Assist the Accounts Payable team with query resolution.
- Reconcile supplier statements.
- Upload payments onto various banks.
- Previous experience working in an Accounts Payable function.
- Knowledge of foreign payments and bank accounts is desirable.
- Knowledge of Salesforce and/or Workday would be advantageous.
- Excel skills, including basic formulas and pivot tables.
- Able to stay on task and ensure satisfactory conclusions are reached.
