Salary: £24,917 per annum (tax-free enhanced stipend) plus tuition fees for four years. Funding is available for Home students with permanent UK residency.
Job Description:A comprehensive research project focused on characterising and predicting manufacturing defects in fibre-reinforced polymer composites.
- Conduct extensive laboratory work and numerical modelling to develop mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with leading academics and industrial partners to advance sustainable composite manufacturing processes.
The successful candidate will hold a minimum 2:1 master's degree in a relevant engineering or physical science discipline. Previous knowledge of composites and experience in finite element analysis are beneficial. Excellent communication skills are essential.
