Job Title: SEN Tutor

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Tutor to provide tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualised learning plans based on students' specific requirements
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to help students achieve their academic goals
  • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Knowledge of SEN support strategies and interventions
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience as a SEN Tutor or in a similar role

Working Conditions:

The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing support to students with SEN in an educational setting. The work may require flexibility in terms of working hours and locations, as well as collaboration with other professionals and stakeholders.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education' this may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants.
