Job Description: Band 6 Neonatal Unit Manager

Location: Sheffield, UK

Salary: £37,338 - £44,962 per annum (pro rata for part-time staff)

We are seeking an experienced and skilled nurse to fill the role of Band 6 Neonatal Unit Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the neonatal unit, ensuring that high-quality patient care is delivered.

About the Role:

  • To manage the neonatal unit and ensure that high-quality patient care is delivered
  • To lead and manage a team of neonatal nurses in the delivery of patient care
  • To develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and safety
  • To work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse qualification with current registration with the NMC
  • Advanced Diploma in Nursing Studies or equivalent qualification
  • Qualified in Neonatal Speciality
  • Evidence of leadership and management experience in a healthcare setting
