About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our Special Schools Team at Sheffield Children's Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide specialist physiotherapy services to children and adolescents with complex and chronic conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, treat, and manage children and adolescents with a range of chronic, complex, and life-limiting conditions.
  • Act as a source of expertise, providing specialist advice to other inter-agency professional staff and providing clinical education and training to others.
  • Take a lead role in the management of cases, working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality care.
  • Provide specialist advice and support to other healthcare professionals, including more junior therapists and support staff.

Person Specification

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist who is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and holds a degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent. You will have significant and relevant experience in neurodisability and be able to demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills in the management of children with neurological and developmental dysfunction and orthopaedic conditions.
