Job Title: Principal Designer - Building Regulations Expert

We are seeking an experienced Principal Designer to head up a newly formed Building Regulations team based in Swansea. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the latest Building Safety Act 2022 regulations and other statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and develop the new Building Regulations team
* Advise on compliance with the Building Safety Act and other regulatory requirements
* Provide the role of Principal Designer on complex and high-profile projects
* Work closely with clients, offering guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle
* Manage project design risk assessments and review health and safety plans

Requirements:

* Strong understanding of the Building Safety Act 2022 and relevant Building Regulations
* Minimum of NEBOSH Certificate and membership of IOSH or APS
* A background in design, architecture, or construction
