Job Title: Installation Site Manager - Material Handling Systems

Job Summary:

Minstrell Engineering is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Installation Site Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Project Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and successful delivery of projects across the United Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Health and Safety Management: Develop and implement effective health and safety strategies to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
  2. On-Site and Contractor Management: Manage and coordinate the activities of contractors and site personnel to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget.
  3. Liaison with Key Stakeholders: Communicate effectively with project and programme managers to ensure seamless project delivery.
  4. Project Management: Oversee the day-to-day running of projects, including the management of resources, timelines, and budgets.
  5. Safety Audits and Checks: Conduct regular safety audits and checks to ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
  6. Delivery and Material Management: Coordinate the delivery and management of materials and equipment to ensure projects are completed on time.
  7. Site H&S Procedures and Documentation: Develop and maintain site-specific health and safety procedures and documentation.
  8. Weekly Reporting: Provide regular project updates to relevant stakeholders.
  9. Company Processes and Procedures: Ensure that company processes and procedures are carried out on site.

Requirements:

  1. H&S Qualification / Experience: Possess a relevant health and safety qualification (CDM, IOSH, NEBOSH, SMSTS) and experience in a similar role.
  2. Problem-Solving and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills to effectively manage stakeholders and teams.
  3. Organizational Skills: Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
  4. Client and Stakeholder Management: Possess excellent client and stakeholder management skills to build strong relationships.
  5. Material Handling Systems: Have a thorough understanding of the installation of material handling systems.
  6. Project Completion: Ability to drive projects to completion and ensure successful delivery.
