Site Installation Manager

Minstrell Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Site Installation Manager to join our UK Project Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, timely, and budget-friendly delivery of projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Health and Safety Management: Develop and implement effective health and safety strategies to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • On-Site Management: Oversee the installation process, manage contractors, and ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with project and programme managers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Project Management: Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the project, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management.
  • Safety Audits and Checks: Conduct regular safety audits and checks to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Delivery and Material Management: Ensure the timely delivery of materials and equipment, and manage the installation process to meet project deadlines.
  • Site H&S Procedures and Documentation: Develop and maintain accurate records of site health and safety procedures, including documentation and training.
  • Weekly Reporting: Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, highlighting any challenges or successes.
Requirements:
  • H&S Qualification: Possess a recognized health and safety qualification, such as CDM, IOSH, NEBOSH, or SMSTS.
  • Problem-Solving and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Proven experience in project management, with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Client and Stakeholder Management: Possess excellent client and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and negotiate effectively.
  • Material Handling Systems: Have a thorough understanding of material handling systems and their installation.
  • Project Completion: Be able to drive projects to completion, ensuring that all objectives are met and exceeded.
