Pharmacy Assistant Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Paydens Group. As a vital member of our pharmacy operations, you will play a key role in supporting our pharmacists and delivering exceptional customer service.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal requirements.
  2. Offer outstanding customer service, providing a warm and supportive experience for all patients.
  3. Contribute to an efficient pharmacy workflow, maintaining a high level of organisation and standards.
  4. Manage inventory, ensuring accurate stocking and maintenance of pharmaceuticals.
  5. Utilise computer systems to process prescriptions, manage stock levels, and handle customer queries.
  6. Maintain a clean and tidy pharmacy environment.

What We Are Looking For:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  1. A foundation of pharmacy knowledge, with a preference for those holding an NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent experience.
  2. Exceptional customer service skills, demonstrating warmth, empathy, and patience.
  3. A keen eye for detail, ensuring the accuracy and safety of all pharmacy operations.
  4. Strong teamwork capabilities, thriving in a collaborative work setting.
  5. Computer literacy, comfortable with learning and utilising various pharmacy software systems.
  6. Outstanding communication traits, ability to problem-solve, and the initiative to adapt quickly in a busy environment.
