Assistant Finance Manager - Commercial Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Finance Manager to join our team of international finance professionals at Reed. This role is crucial for leveraging the benefits of our upcoming SAP ByDesign implementation and streamlining operations to enhance support to the business.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Group Finance Director and play a key role in supporting group-wide activities, including:

  • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive reporting suite to provide insightful commentary on monthly commercial performance.
  • Assisting the Group Finance Director in identifying and leveraging SAP's benefits across the business.
  • Supporting the development of finance policies to ensure a strong control framework.
  • Managing the Group's transfer pricing policy and process.
  • Liaising with auditors in the UK, Germany, and the US to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Providing analysis on competitor performance and industry trends to support the Group's strategic plan.
  • Offering ad-hoc support to the Group Finance Director, gaining exposure to new learning and developmental opportunities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in management accounting, including FP&A, planning, reporting, and forecasting.
  • Part-qualified CIMA/ACCA or equivalent.
  • A strong understanding of financial reporting and transfer pricing policies.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to work full-time at the global HQ in Marlow with no remote option.
