Primary Care Nursing Role in Defence

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Primary Care Nurse to join our team at Defence Primary Healthcare (DPHC) in Salisbury. As a key member of our primary healthcare team, you will deliver high-quality nursing care to entitled personnel, working closely with the Senior Practice Nurse or Senior Medical Officer within the medical facility.
The role involves assessing patients, providing treatments, screening, and advice within your professional competence and in accordance with DPHC clinical guidelines and protocols. You will also be responsible for monitoring and improving standards through supervision, evidence-based practice, clinical audit, research, and education.
We offer a competitive salary of £29,970 to £36,483 per annum, pro rata for part-time hours, plus various benefits including access to learning and development opportunities, flexible working, and a welcoming team environment.
To succeed in this role, you must hold relevant qualifications, including registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). You should also be willing to undertake specific training to fulfill competency requirements.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and provide evidence of their immunity to Hepatitis B.
