Job Summary

About the Role

This dynamic and rewarding role offers the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including wards, outpatient clinics, and emergency departments. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care, assessing patient needs, and implementing tailored care plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to children and young people across different settings.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures safely and effectively.
  • Provide emotional support to patients and families, helping them understand medical conditions and treatment plans.
  • Monitor and respond to changes in patients' conditions, escalating concerns to senior staff when necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care.
Salary and Benefits

Requirements
  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a qualified Paediatric Nurse (RNC).
  • Minimum 6 months experience in a paediatric nursing role, preferably within an NHS setting.
  • Strong clinical skills, including medication administration, wound care, and the management of medical devices.
