About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Teacher to join our team at Stocklake Park School, part of The Vale Federation. As an Assistant Teacher, you will work under the guidance of teaching and senior staff to implement agreed work programmes with individuals and groups, in or out of the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Teacher in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources
- Lead whole classes during the Teacher's non-contact time and during short-term absences
- Liaise with other professionals to carry out recommendations and work on your own initiative
About You
We are looking for an individual with a minimum of three years' experience working with children and young people who have special educational and complex needs. You will have a good working knowledge of ICT to support learning and a commitment to training. Resilience, common sense, and a commitment to working as part of a team are essential.
