About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Exposure Management Analyst to join our team at AIG. As an Assistant Underwriter, you will play a key role in analyzing and managing risk for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and produce reports and statistics to support business planning and accounting exercises.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in exposure management to support the team.
  • Upskill Assistant Underwriters and Technical Assistants in exposure management.
  • Assist underwriters in monitoring and controlling specific accounts.
  • Liaise with brokers, clients, and other professionals as necessary.
  • Prepare information packs and summaries for underwriters, including collating broker-supplied material.
  • Ensure premium entries in Subscribe are reviewed and accurately maintained.
  • Provide information and assistance to support other departments and staff.
Requirements
  • Exposure management experience.
  • Underwriting operational experience.
  • Knowledge of the Lloyds market and Political Violence/War & Terror.
  • Chartered Insurance Institute – Certificate.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Analytical/numerically literate.
  • Able to work as part of a team or independently.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize with limited guidance.
