About the Role
Hays Senior Finance is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Client Manager to join our team in Macclesfield. As a Client Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, overseeing and preparing accounts for a range of businesses, including sole traders, limited companies, and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of clients, providing expert accounting services and advice to ensure their financial needs are met.
- Prepare and submit statutory accounts, management accounts, tax returns, and VAT returns for clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
- Collaborate with other departments within the firm to ensure clients receive a comprehensive range of services.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell services to clients.
- Contribute to business development and growth initiatives, including pitching for new work and attending networking events.
Requirements
- ACA/ACCA qualified with significant experience working at a qualified level within practice.
- Proven track record of managing and developing a portfolio of clients.
- Strong knowledge of accountancy software and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong business development and networking skills.
