About the Job:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented and ambitious candidate to join a committed firm that truly values its workforce. The role has come around following an extended period of growth within the firm's audit team, presenting an excellent new opportunity to develop your career as an accounts and audit professional.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and prepare year-end, management accounts, VAT and tax returns for a diverse portfolio of local clients.
- Take an active part in all areas of an audit from planning through to completion.
- Train the more junior members within the firm and develop strong client knowledge and relationships.
Requirements:
- Previous experience within practice, preparing statutory accounts, management accounts, tax and VAT returns.
- Confidently lead audit engagements with some exposure to training junior team members.
- ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
