About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a strong and forward-thinking independent accountancy practice as an Audit and Accounts Senior in their Macclesfield office. The firm is seeking a professional with previous experience in practice, preparing statutory accounts, management accounts, tax, and VAT returns, as well as leading audit engagements and training junior team members.
Your New Role
As an Audit and Accounts Senior, you will be responsible for overseeing and preparing year-end, management accounts, VAT, and tax returns for a diverse portfolio of local clients, reporting to managers alongside your work. You will also take an active part in all areas of an audit from planning through to completion, including training junior members and developing strong client knowledge and relationships.
What You'll Need to Succeed
The firm is looking for a professional with strong knowledge of accountancy software, eager to learn and progress professionally within the firm. You will need to be ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience, with a competitive salary of up to £45,000 (depending on experience/qualifications) and a generous holiday package.
