Audit and Accounts Professional

This is an exciting opportunity to join a strong and forward-thinking independent accountancy practice as an audit and accounts senior in their Macclesfield office. The firm is seeking a professional with previous experience in practice, preparing statutory accounts, management accounts, tax and VAT returns, as well as leading audit engagements and training junior team members.
Your New Role
This is a 50/50 audit and accounts split role where you will be responsible for overseeing and preparing year-end, management accounts, VAT and tax returns for a diverse portfolio of local clients, reporting to managers alongside your work. Alongside your accounts work, you will take an active part in all areas of an audit from planning through to completion. Day-to-day duties will also include training the more junior members within the firm and developing strong client knowledge and relationships, providing insightful advice and guidance.
What You'll Need to Succeed
The firm is seeking a professional accounts and audit senior who possesses strong knowledge of accountancy software, is eager to learn and progress professionally within the firm, and has a competitive salary of up to £45,000 (depending on experience/qualifications).
