Job Title: Special Needs Education Support Professional

About the Role:

Zen Educate is seeking a dedicated and compassionate special needs education support professional to join our team at a special needs school in Gloucestershire. We are looking for individuals with experience in special needs, either from other school roles or supporting special needs via care work. The school caters to children with a range of needs but specializes in severe learning difficulties.

The ideal candidate would have access to a car, but we can still consider those who rely on public transport and can get to the school easily. The working hours are 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, term time only.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide support to students with special educational needs, including personal care if required.
  2. Exercise patience, empathy, and consistency when interacting with students, adhering to school policies and expectations.
  3. Foster a positive learning environment by being flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the school and students.
  4. Hold a valid DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.

We offer a rewarding opportunity for individuals seeking a part-time role that makes a meaningful impact on children's lives. If you're passionate about helping children with needs and value flexibility, please reach out to discuss this opportunity further.
