The successful applicant will carry out the responsibilities of a lead educator to plan and deliver quality learning opportunities for all pupils, creating a stimulating environment where children can thrive.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out the duties of a primary teacher as set in current professional standards.
  2. Provide an orderly, organized, and effective learning environment.
  3. Identify and assess special education needs of individual students and plan lessons to meet their needs.
  4. Use assessment techniques and implement policies for marking and tracking student progress.
  5. Monitor, record, and track student progress and respond with strategies for improvement.
  6. Contribute to teaching and learning development by sharing best practices and leading curriculum areas.
  7. Use technology effectively for planning, teaching, and assessing and promote it as a learning tool.
  8. Foster good relationships with parents and involve them in the learning process.
  9. Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people.
  10. Promote equal opportunities policy.
Requirements:
  • High-quality teaching practice and good organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working with colleagues and parents.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to organizational development.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting child welfare.
  • Enhanced DBS check required.
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
