About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our team at Black Country Job Support. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing specialist psychological care to individuals with complex mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide highly specialist psychological assessment and treatment to clients with complex mental health conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote mental health and wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential risks.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to junior staff members.
Requirements
  • Post-graduate doctoral level training in applied Psychology (or its equivalent) as accredited by the BPS.
  • Post-doctoral training in one or more additional specialized areas of psychological practice.
  • HCPC registration as an Applied Psychologist with Chartered Status.
  • Registration with BPS.
  • Experience of working as a qualified applied psychologist within the designated service.
