Deputy Team Manager - Fostering Team

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Social Worker to join our Fostering - Families and Friends Team as a Deputy Team Manager. This is a full-time role offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families.

About the Role:

  • Support the Team Manager in the day-to-day management of the Fostering Team
  • Work closely with the Team Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve outcomes for children and families
  • Provide guidance and support to Social Workers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality services
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure the team is operating effectively

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with experience in children's social work
  • Management experience, preferably in a social care setting
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
