About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Potens. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our service, working closely with the Registered Manager to deliver high-quality care and support to our service users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day management of the service
  • Lead and mentor a team of Support Workers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver excellent care and support
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans and policies
  • Ensure compliance with CQC and safeguarding regulations
  • Participate in on-call rotas and attend training sessions as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum of NVQ Level 3 and willingness to complete Level 5
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Positive outlook and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Driver's license essential due to service requirements
