SEN Teaching Assistant for Complex Needs

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Academics Ltd as a SEN Teaching Assistant, supporting pupils aged 11 to 19 with complex needs and disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support across multiple classes, including one-to-one teaching assistant work and small class support
- Work collaboratively with a team of teaching assistants to help pupils with various needs
- Deliver sensory curriculum-based learning activities and provide physical support when required
- Assist pupils with personal care, lifting, and physical support
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with disabilities or SEN
- Excellent communication skills and ability to hold pupil attention
- Promote happiness, self-reliance, and encourage positive interactions
- Able to carry out personal care, including changing and hoists
Salary Information:
The estimated salary for this role is £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
