Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd. The successful candidate will have experience working with children with complex needs and disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils in a variety of settings, including classrooms and one-to-one sessions
  • Develop and implement sensory curriculum-based learning activities
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure pupil needs are met
  • Provide physical support and assist with personal care

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with children with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to promote positive interactions and independence
  • Able to carry out personal care, including changing and hoists

Estimated Salary:

£28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
