Role Overview

We are seeking a talented Paraplanner to join our team in Edinburgh, where you will provide support to our Financial Planners and deliver a positive experience for our clients. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for preparing suitability reports, conducting technical research, and ensuring client records are accurate and up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare suitability reports across a wide range of advice types, financial products, and investment solutions
  • Conduct technical research and ensure client records contain sufficient Know Your Client information
  • Collaborate with Financial Planners to deliver a positive client experience
  • Attend client meetings to support the Financial Planner in delivering cashflow modelling
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Level 4 qualification in Financial Planning (CII, Diploma in Financial Planning/Regulated Financial Planning)
  • A strong understanding of financial planning principles and FCA guidelines
  • Demonstrable experience of paraplanning with a proven track record of delivering written financial advice
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex issues in writing and face-to-face
