Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Early Years Educator to join our team at Bright Horizons WoodLand Day Nursery and Preschool. As a Bank Staff Member, you will have the flexibility to work when you want, while enjoying the security and benefits of being an employee.

About the Role

As an Early Years Educator, you will be responsible for supporting our nursery colleagues in delivering high-quality care and education to our children. This will involve engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones, and ensuring their safety throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support nursery colleagues in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
  • Engage children in play and activities that promote their development and learning
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and safe environment

Requirements

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for children
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with children and adults
  • Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable
