Bright Horizons Foundation for Children charity has been supporting children and families in crisis since 2005, with nearly 100 locations. Each colleague is entitled to a paid volunteer day annually.

Your responsibilities:

  • Assist nursery staff in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) by engaging children in fun and educational activities, promoting their development and ensuring their safety.
  • Collaborate with the team to complete essential daily tasks, maintaining hygiene standards and preparing rooms as needed.
  • Ensure child welfare, protection, health, safety, and safeguarding are prioritized.
  • Contribute to a positive, happy, and safe environment for all children.

What we seek:

  • Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Prior experience working with children (e.g., Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder).
  • A passion for making learning enjoyable and engaging for every child.
  • Strong communication skills with both children and adults.
  • A solid understanding of child protection and safeguarding principles.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in your approach.
