Transport Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Manager to join our team at Green Barks Search Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning and optimizing our transport operations to ensure efficient, safe, and sustainable movement of our fleet across the UK and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the planning and execution of transport operations to meet business objectives
  • Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure smooth collaborations and cost-effective solutions
  • Champion the business's commitment to safety, quality, and environmental responsibility
  • Develop and implement processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
  • Manage and maintain the FORS accreditation and ensure the fleet meets all legal compliance standards
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members to ensure peak performance

Requirements:

  • International CPC qualification
  • Extensive experience in the heavy-lift industry
  • Proven track record of problem-solving and logistics management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
