Job Title: Transport Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Transport Manager to join our team at Green Barks Search Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning and optimizing our transport operations to ensure the efficient, safe, and sustainable movement of our fleet across the UK and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the planning and execution of transport operations to meet business objectives
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve transport efficiency, safety, and sustainability
  • Manage a team of transport professionals to ensure smooth operations and high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure cost-effective solutions and smooth collaborations
  • Champion the company's commitment to safety, quality, and environmental responsibility
  • Develop and implement processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
  • Manage the company's fleet to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members to ensure they are fully trained and equipped to perform their roles

Requirements:

  • International CPC qualification
  • Extensive experience in the heavy-lift industry
  • Proven track record of improving transport efficiency, safety, and sustainability
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to develop and implement effective strategies to improve operational efficiency
