About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Sales and Operations Lead to join our team at Simon Acres Group. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading and managing teams, with a strong focus on sales and customer service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the branch, including sales, customer service, and warehouse activities. They will also be expected to develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed targets, as well as analyse sales data and market trends to optimise sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed targets.
  2. Analyse sales data and market trends to optimise sales efforts.
  3. Identify new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
  4. Manage inventory levels and ensure the branch is well-stocked.
  5. Implement and maintain health and safety standards.
  6. Oversee financial performance, including budgeting and cost control.
  7. Monitor market conditions and competitor activities.
  8. Report regularly to senior management on branch performance and growth opportunities.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience in a supervisory, team leader, assistant management or branch management role within a Plumbers Merchant or similar.
  2. Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  3. Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  4. Proven track record in sales and achieving targets.
  5. Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
  6. Proficiency with sales and a proactive attitude.

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum.
