Management Team Secretary

The Management Team Secretary will provide a comprehensive confidential secretarial and administrative service across the whole range of the Management Team remit. This includes ensuring an efficient and effective support service by providing a range of secretarial and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Management Team, including preparing and maintaining records, reports, and correspondence.
- Ensure confidentiality and discretion are maintained at all times.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Provide a comprehensive confidential secretarial and administrative service, including preparing and maintaining records, reports, and correspondence.
- Ensure the smooth operation of the Management Team's administrative functions.
Requirements
- Professional qualification in a relevant discipline, such as Business Administration or Secretarial Studies.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, including customer care.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good organisational and planning skills.
- Understanding of a range of procedures and processes.
- Ability to prioritise work and work on own initiative whilst under pressure.
- Proficient IT skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
Desirable
- Experience within a secretarial or administrative role.
- Knowledge of NHS policies and procedures.
- Car driver with a full, valid UK/EU/EEA licence.

This role will be based in PSSD within University Hospital Wishaw.
The working pattern for this role will be confirmed at a later date.
