Job Title: Financial Controller Assistant

Cast UK Limited is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller Assistant to join their team in Staffordshire. As a key member of the finance team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Senior Plant Financial Controller and contributing to the ongoing success of this leading multinational manufacturing organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Management Information: Produce timely and accurate management information to satisfy group and local deadlines, including weekly production cost analysis, stock variance analysis, and PPV analysis.
  • Reporting: Create new and revised reports to challenge operational activities and drive cost savings, while ensuring master data integrity and vigilance.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with operations, R&D, commercial, and HR teams to present clear financial information and support decision-making at all levels.
  • Cost Accounting: Monitor fixed cost evolution, check material-dependent data, and raise issues before month-end close.
  • Month-End Reporting: Revalue standards, deliver P&L and balance sheet analysis, and validate CLOCO activities.
  • FP&A: Support the plant budget and forecasting process, provide timely analysis, and monitor Capex projects.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and drive process efficiencies within finance and controlling areas.
  • Compliance: Ensure plant compliance with internal and external policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Education: Degree in finance or related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in financial management or related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
