Financial Controller Assistant

Cast UK Limited is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Plant Financial Controller to join our team. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Senior Plant Financial Controller and contributing to the ongoing success of our global finance operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Management Information: Produce timely and accurate management information to satisfy group and local deadlines, including weekly production cost analysis, stock variance analysis, and PPV analysis.
- Reporting: Create new and revised reports to challenge operational activities and drive cost savings, while reviewing trends and challenging current performance to identify risks and opportunities.
- Master Data Integrity: Ensure master data integrity and vigilance, assisting with the identification and resolution of product costing and master data queries.
- Business Partnering: Partner with operations, R&D, commercial, and HR teams to present clear financial information and support decision-making at all levels.
- Cost Accounting: Monitor fixed cost evolution by cost centre and nature of expenses, raise issues before month-end close, and drive relevant functions for resolution.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide insights to drive business decisions.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Effective communication with stakeholders at all levels, including finance, operations, and senior management.
- Process Improvement: Identify and drive process efficiencies within the finance and controlling areas.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal and external policies, procedures, and regulations.
