Digital Channels Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Channels Director to lead our global digital communications strategy. As a key member of our Corporate Affairs and Sustainability organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive digital strategy that aligns with our corporate communications priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Define and execute the digital strategy for corporate channels, including the development of audience groups and associated content strategies.
- Establish an effective content model and principles for corporate-owned digital channels globally and locally.
- Contribute to the Corporate Affairs Editorial Board to ensure prioritization and impact of all communications to employees and to provide a regular stream of stories aligned to the global narrative.
- Advise on reactive communications, including the creation and deployment of tactics to mitigate risk, particularly on social media.
- Build digital communications capability of senior leaders in partnership with the Communications Business Partners to leverage their personal digital profiles.
- Partner with External Affairs on key messaging and external opportunities that can be leveraged across corporate digital channels.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to align the approach across social and web to meet respective objectives.
- Build an effective partnership with IT&D to ensure the infrastructure to support our digital channels is robust and evolves to meet our needs.
- Develop a high-performing digital communications team with clear objectives, capabilities, and development plans.
- Circa 10+ years of digital communications experience.
- Strategic communications planning and execution.
- External and internal channel optimization and content development.
- Social media management and activation.
- Content marketing and development, including SEO and SEM.
- Stakeholder engagement, particularly with senior leaders in a business.
- Strong business acumen and experience operating within a leadership team outside core area of expertise.
- Measurement and analytics.
- Web development and build.
