Clinical Lead Job Description

As a Clinical Lead at Meridian Business Support, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of clinical care and governance in our care homes. You will work closely with our nursing team to ensure our residents receive the best possible care, meet their needs through excellent nursing and clinical care, and actively contribute to all clinical delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the nursing team to deliver high-quality clinical care and governance.
  • Work closely with the management team to ensure compliance with audits, safeguarding, DOLS, CQC, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure best practice.
  • Train, support, and mentor nursing staff to enhance their skills and confidence.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements:
  • NMC registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience.
  • Strong clinical skillset and ability to make clinical decisions.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and remain calm in challenging situations.
