Advanced Manufacturing Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Manufacturing Technician to join our team in the manufacturing department at Anglian Home Improvements.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a CNC Machining Engineer or in a similar CNC machining role and have strong problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication skills to work closely with engineers and designers.
This role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of CNC machinery and tooling. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing precision tools, fixtures, and components using CNC machinery, working closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.
We offer a competitive salary of £38,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including 31 days' holiday (increasing to 33 days after two years of service), paid time off annually to volunteer, and comprehensive health & wellbeing benefits.
- Program, set up, and operate CNC machines (lathes, mills, etc.) to produce high-quality precision tools and components.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to optimize tooling solutions and ensure product quality.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to maintain optimal performance.
- Conduct quality checks using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments.
