Associate Director of Estates and Facilities Manager

About the Role
The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced and skilled Associate Director of Estates and Facilities to join their team. As a key member of the Trust's Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for delivering the Estates strategy and operational delivery of the estates, clinical engineering, facilities, and capital team functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Trust's Estates strategy, ensuring alignment with clinical, workforce, research, and development, and finance strategies.
- Lead the planning, development, and implementation of Estates and Facilities functions, Estates development, and Estates and Facilities compliance.
- Manage the delivery of large-scale strategic capital and operational projects.
- Develop and maintain strategic Estates partnerships within the local health economy, ICS, and partners.
- Ensure compliance with national standards and policies, and deliver all statutory and regulatory standards.
- Act as a professional lead and advisor for all Estates matters and relevant policies.
About the Trust
The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust provides services to West Cheshire and Welsh patients covered by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. The Trust works collaboratively within the wider Cheshire and Merseyside Health and Care Partnership. Its services are provided from three locations: The Countess of Chester Hospital, Ellesmere Port Hospital, and Tarporley War Memorial Hospital.
Requirements
- Professional knowledge acquired through degree or equivalent, plus specialist knowledge acquired through postgraduate courses and experience to Masters or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Building Services.
- Evidence of continuing personal and professional development.
- Membership of a professional institute.
