About the Career Path

As a Train Conductor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of trains, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a positive working environment. Our Conductor Apprenticeship Programme provides comprehensive training and support.

Job Requirements
  • You do not need prior railway experience to apply, but you must meet the necessary requirements, including living within a 15-mile radius of the Tonbridge depot.
  • Satisfactory references, a right to work verification, a basic criminal record check, and a pre-employment medical assessment are required.
Benefits and Salary
  • A final salary pension scheme and 28 days annual leave allowance (including bank holidays).
  • The estimated salary for this role is £24,150 rising to £34,649 after one year's service from completion of training.
