Community Health Specialist

We are seeking an exceptional Community Health Specialist to join our team of dedicated professionals in the field of Public Health Nursing. This role is perfect for a motivated individual with excellent communication and leadership skills, who is passionate about promoting health and well-being in school-aged children and their families.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and supporting the health of school-age children and their families through the Healthy Child Programme 5-19 year olds. They will utilize digital tools such as Health for Teens/Kids and Chat Health to increase our online presence and engage with the community. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of current health issues impacting school nursing services and be able to provide guidance and support to families and healthcare professionals alike.

Key Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess relevant qualifications and experience in public health nursing, including a Registered Nurse Part 1/RSCN/RMN certification, Specialist Community Public Health Nurse School Nursing qualification, and Mentorship in Clinical Practice/ENB998 certificate. Strong leadership skills, excellent computer literacy, and the ability to write detailed reports and referrals are essential. Additionally, the successful candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm for professional and staff development, with evidence of ongoing evidence-based practice.
