CFC Consult Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Events Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and driving revenue growth through effective sales and event management strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to and send proposals to conference and event enquiries, upselling on every occasion to maximise revenue
- Follow up on enquiries and conduct showrounds to convert enquiries into bookings, ensuring the commerciality of each event via optimum diary management
- Complete conference and events contracts with the highest level of accuracy to ensure a superior customer experience and overall successful event
- Plan and execute event details via function sheets in a timely and highly accurate manner, working closely with the wider sales and operational teams
- Assist with planning and hosting of Open Evenings and other promotional events
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Good knowledge of OPERA is an advantage, but not essential
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Creative and original thinking
- Well-organised with high attention to detail
- Well-presented
- Up to £28,000 per annum
- 45 hours per week
- Some evening and weekend work may be required
