Job Title: Accommodation Office Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accommodation Office Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production process, maintaining high-quality standards, and leading a team of production staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the production process to ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining quality standards.
  • Lead a team of production staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
  • Monitor and report on Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) and implement continuous improvement plans to optimize production efficiency.
  • Ensure the availability of materials for production, preventing shortages and downtime.
  • Participate in New Product Development (NPD) product trials and samples.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by delivering key enabling activities, such as near misses, safety observations, and timely completion of investigation actions.
  • Monitor product quality and report any non-conforming ingredients.
  • Maintain agreed Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards and take action on any non-conformances.
  • Support skills development within the team, ensuring the skill matrix is updated to the correct skill set and succession planning takes place.
  • Manage people, including holiday authorization, absence, probation reviews, performance, and conduct issues.
  • Effectively hand over shifts.
  • Deputize for Production Managers in areas of own experience.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a similar role in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Health and Safety, Food Safety, BRC standards, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
  • Experience training and leading a large operational team.
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Level 3 Food Safety and Hygiene (desirable).
