Mobility Engineer Lead

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Mobility Engineer Lead to join our team in Ashford/Gillingham. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will use your analytical, engineering, and practical skills to solve problems for service users related to their mobility equipment.
Responsibilities
- Use clinical and technical skills to assess the mobility needs of adults and children with complex needs.
- Prescribe manual and powered wheelchairs, including high-performance, highly adjustable self-propelling manual wheelchairs.
- Liaise with service user groups and other stakeholders to facilitate joint working and identify opportunities for improving service user outcomes.
Requirements
- Registered Clinical Technologist or HCPC-registered Clinical Scientist.
- Experience working with patients with long-term or deteriorating medical conditions.
- Proficient in the use of digital systems and software for record-keeping and analysis of service performance.
