We are seeking an experienced Travel Sales Manager to join our team in Glasgow. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of sales advisors to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Motivate and coach a team of sales advisors to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Manage the flow of enquiries, setting and achieving targets for response times, follow-ups and conversion.
- Input to monthly and annual sales targets, analyse performance data and prepare accurate management information reports and forecasts for the General Manager and Directors.
- Develop skills within the sales team continuously to ensure team members are working to the best of their ability to meet both revenue and customer satisfaction objectives.
- Recruit, train and integrate new members into the sales team.
- Gain comprehensive knowledge of our product offering of tailor-made holidays and small group tours throughout the UK, Ireland and Channel Islands.
- Solid Sales Manager background within a sales-focused environment, ideally for a tour operator.
- Good knowledge of the UK & Ireland, but not essential.
- Experience of lead management, tour operating, or the wider travel industry will be an advantage.
- Starting salary up to £38k dependent on experience.
- Additional company bonus.
- Facilitate experiencing our tours and itineraries.
