About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to join our team at JAM Recruitment Ltd, supporting one of the UK's leading Defence organisations based in Barrow in Furness.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating project activities, including scheduling, problem-solving, and risk analysis. You will have a good understanding of business processes and procedures, as well as proficiency in Microsoft toolsets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate project activities, including scheduling and resource allocation;
  • Analyse schedule data and identify trends and variances;
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, risk registers, and other project management tools;
  • Provide technical support to team members and stakeholders;
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures;
Requirements:
  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, project management);
  • At least 1 year of experience in a project coordination role, preferably in the defence or aerospace industry;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop creative solutions;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £52.78 per hour (umbrella) or £45.82 per hour (PAYE), Inside IR35.
