Assembly Role

Cummins Inc. is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Operator to work in our Assembly team, specializing in the assembly of high horsepower natural gas and diesel engines.

As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling engines to meet quality and safety standards. You will work in a team environment to ensure smooth operations and contribute to the company's goal of delivering high-quality products.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and applications. You will be expected to adapt to various tasks as needed to support overall production goals.

Responsibilities

  1. Assemble high horsepower natural gas and diesel engines to meet quality and safety standards.
  2. Work to the given takt time to ensure efficient production.
  3. Adapt to various tasks as needed to support overall production goals.
  4. Maintain quality and safety standards.
  5. Communicate effectively with your team and support staff to enhance teamwork and productivity.
  6. Follow quality procedures and perform inspections to ensure high standards and reduce costs.

Requirements

  1. High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience.
  2. Manufacturing expertise and knowledge of quality procedures.
  3. Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

The compensation for this role is aligned with a local bargained or unionized agreement.
