The Role
We are seeking a commercially astute Senior Land Manager to support our business growth in the Eastern region. As a key member of our land team, you will be responsible for investigating and appraising potential sites for development, working closely with our planning, construction, and design teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and appraise potential sites for development, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Develop and manage our land team to achieve business objectives, including negotiating land purchases and settlements.
- Collaborate with Local Authorities, Estate Agents, and Land Owners to secure land acquisitions and ensure successful planning applications.
- Conduct detailed reviews of settlements and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Extensive land experience within the property sector, with a proven track record of acquiring land in city and town centers.
- Ability to influence decisions using appropriate methods and facts, with strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrable man management experience, including conducting training and one-to-ones.
- Valid UK driver's license and competent driver, with a willingness to travel frequently.
