Job Description
As an Evening & Weekend Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication reminders. You will work closely with our team to provide exceptional care and support, ensuring our clients maintain their independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Taking clients to appointments and social gatherings
- Preparing nutritious meals and snacks
- Picking up prescriptions, grocery shopping, and running other errands
- Performing modest housekeeping tasks, such as laundry or ironing
- Providing medication reminders
- Assisting clients in getting in and out of bed each morning and night
- Running a shower or bath and staying nearby to provide assistance if needed
- Assisting with dressing, undressing, and personal care as needed
